I know this is for ocean fishing mainly, and I don’t fish oceans, BUT I personally don’t splurge on rods/Reels. Of course I don’t go cheap but I rather buy new ones when it’s time to phase out compared to having super expensive rods I don’t wanna use, scratch, or even drop lol. I wanna be able to use my pole like I’m supposed to. 👌🏻 but that setup is CLEAN.

The tackle in lbs is the one measured in how much weight it can withstand before it pops , 15lbs tackle can withstand 15lbs of pull force from even a 5lb fish
